Welcome.

My name is Drew. I’m an illustrator. I create art for brands, books, and magazines.

I have been illustrating for nearly ten years. My work has been in magazines and newspapers, on billboards and TV commercials, as brand identity, and as product packaging. I’m happy to share these amazing projects. Please continue scrolling to view my portfolio.

Illustration for Brands

I help brands visually communicate their values and narratives in an approachable way. My art style is colorful, human, and alive with details. The tone of my art style is often playful, clever, and empathic. These qualities have meshed seamlessly with a variety of brands and applications. In most of these projects, I have developed close working relationships with the brand’s creative team and the art I create is adopted as a pillar of their brand image.

Illustration for Books

Illustration is visual storytelling at its core. I have had the amazing opportunity to create series of illustrations for a number of books. These are prized portfolio pieces as they require an immense amount of time, dedication, and consistency. Check out The Book of Discoveries to see my largest, most favorite piece of my portfolio.

Illustration for Magazines

I create editorial illustration for magazine and newspaper articles. I have illustrated for many different publications and topics of interest. My illustration style is very adaptable in this way. To accompany an article, I like to illustrate characters and detailed scenes to create a visual metaphor or illuminate a crucial part of the writing. This is a collection of my favorite projects.
