Here’s a little about me and my illustration career.

For nearly ten years, I have been creating illustrations for magazines, newspapers, books, and brands. My work has been used on billboards, product packaging, television ads, murals, and more.

I live in a quiet town just outside the city of Portland, Oregon. I have a small studio in my house where I manage my illustration business. From that little room, I have worked on various projects with clients such as Meta, Oregon Lottery, The Washington Post, Delta Airlines, The Wall Street Journal, Tenderfoot TV, and Welbeck Children’s Publishing.

I received a BFA in illustration and graphic design from Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2014. I quickly found freelance work with the local newspapers and began building my portfolio and professional network. For a number of years I was a chalkboard artist at Whole Foods Market, creating hand-lettered signs with illustrations of seasonal produce. Outside of my illustration practice, I currently work as a designer and project manager for a sign fabrication shop.

During off hours I like to spend time with my wife, walking our dogs or working in our garden. I love to cook and explore new recipes, and I love scaring myself silly with a good horror movie.
